4 de Diciembre knows what dance music is about; having a cutting-edge sound with modern harmonies whilst remaining firmly grounded in Afro-Cuban traditions. The ensemble is equally comfortable interpreting sones and son montunos as it is performing its own original salsa-timba compositions.
The band is named after the date of Chango's day, the Afro-Cuban Orisha of fire and music, the eve of which is commemorated with much music, dance and revelry all across the island.
4 de Diciembre was named following a coincidence: the first recording of one theme track called "Nueva Generación" fell on a 3rd of December, where its final inspiración went:
"Festejemos como si mañana fuera 4 de Diciembre"

We are BOURBON Y TEQUILA, an exciting ten piece band offering a unique blend of Salsa and Jazz - in other words we bring you the very best from North and South America!
It might be a long-haul journey even at the speed of light but when Leeds based Latin musician Enrico Marchesi and his 10-piece band Bourbon y Tequila strike up the salsa rhythm you can almost feel the scorching tropical heat.
The band consists of 5 horns, 3 percussionists, keyboard, bass and Cuban vocalist.
Bourbon Y Tequila play mainly original tunes with a dash of Salsa classics thrown in for good measure and their sets are rapidly earning them an impressive reputation with audiences around the UK and Europe.
Enrico Marchesi is a graduate of the Bergamo and Rome Conservatoire, and has performed with many luminaries including the jazz legend Sonny Rollins.
Moving to UK, he has played with many top UK latin bands. He now leads this tight ensemble fusing an infectious Latin percussion section with the jazz sensibilities of a stonking quadruple-horn front-line.

Lido 66 was formed in September 2003 as a collaboration between dance
producer Hal Ritson and Puerto Rican singer Abel Baerga-Ortiz. Bringing
together strong roots of Afro-Caribbean drumming and an ethos from western
dance music the band focuses on bringing salsa and Cuban music to a club
audience. Lido 66 is a ten-piece band and traditional instrumentation is
used - in particular its two Havana-trained percussionists bring authentic
Havana-style Afro-Cuban percussion to the mix.
Lido 66 play a monthly residency at Afro-Cubism, London. Their manic

It is for a wedding celebration on Sunday 7th August from approx. 3pm for light music during meal and drinks
and then later on for 2 sets from approx. 7.30 pm finish no later than 10 pm.
The venue is The Cave Castle Hotel just west of Hull in East Yorkshire.
