Could you not get non-latinos into the clubs, I know there is a lot more divisions the US but I would have thought there would be interest from the the non-latinos, thats a British perspective.
The clubs are totally dependant upon them.. but.. unlike "latinos " their lifespan in the latino club scene is ALWAYS shorter. They tend to go back to the reg type clubs .
The ones that do continue, are the ones who drove out the salseros ( ya know the drops and spin brigade ). They then started asking " where did all the latinos go ? ".
The cultural aspect of the event is seldom recognised by those not involved in the culture . The other side of this coin, if you were to go to clubs in Tampa, they are still dominated by latinos ... ( 95 % ) the " anglos " , those that do stray in from time to time, look lost, and with few exceptions dont last more than an hr.( can be intimidating when all the announcements are in spanish, and many speaking only in spanish ).
Cosmopolitan areas always tend to attract a more diverse crowd ,the curious, in these settings, are more apt to return and learn.
