Very active ( its in the South ,4 mill. pop. )there are about 20 plus studios, most renting space, plus ,all the ancillary places for rent ( comm. centres etc. )
It has a very strong base for the B/Room genre, but the teachers who are working for the B/room schools ( with very few exceptions ) are regular salsa club types .
There is an opportunity to dance Salsa 5/6 nites a week ( I did that at one time..plus teaching )
As like most things, people work to suport the standard of living they desire.. some teach more than others .
