CHOLAO (LIVE) - Band on stage around 2pm, performing 2 live sets CHOLAO, a seven-piece music ensemble with a South London accent. We play Colombian rhythms that inspire more than one hip to tell the truth on the dancing floor! What does Cholao mean? It's a traditional Colombian fruit/ drink combo....but based in West Norwood it's a Seven piece CUMBIA PORRO AND CURRULAO. Those rhythms that crossover Colombia's folklore into Pop in the early 60's. The band is an explosion of flavor's and rhythms. This assemble; with a unique bunch of musicians who had been in the London Latin scene since the 90's offer a mature alternative of Colombian rhythms showing the audience more than Salsa.
